Femininity Hair & Beauty takes your privacy seriously. The purpose of our privacy policy is to detail what, why and where we obtain, store and process personally identifiable data. Femininity Hair & Beauty strives to comply with GDPR as outlined by the ICO and as such endeavour to collect and store only the minimum necessary information required. We may update this policy from time to time and will indicate on our web site when changes have been made.

Personal information as outlined by GDPR obtained during our client process is kept for one year and initially includes a name, contact number, email address and relevant enquiry information. Personal information obtained by signing up to our email newsletter includes an email address, first name and last name. Personal information obtained through use of our website in the form of cookies is detailed in our cookie policy. Personal information obtained after becoming a Femininity Hair & Beauty client can include an address, email address, and ongoing notes.

3. Why we collect it

Data collected during our client process is obtained to allow us to compose, provide and discuss your treatment. Data collected through email newsletter signups will be used solely for the purpose of sending you our email newsletter. Why we collect data through cookies is detailed in our cookie policy.

4. Where we store it

Data collected during our client process may be stored in our paper filing cabinet, online CRM, company mobile devices, and salon computers. Data collected through email newsletter signups is stored within our MailChimp account only. Data collected through cookies is stored through the relevant third parties as detailed in our cookie policy. Additional client data may be stored in our invoicing system, paper filing cabinet, NAS drive, salon computers or our third-party suppliers.

5. How long will we store it

Personal information collected during our client process will be stored for a period of one year in order to fulfil our contractual obligations or to carry out tasks prior to entering a contract. Data collected through email newsletter signups will be stored indefinitely unless the client updates their emailing preferences/unsubscribes (available at the bottom of each email). Data collected through cookies will be stored as indicated in our cookie policy. Additional client data will be stored for as long as agreed to in our client GDPR data form.

6. Who we disclose it to

We will not disclose information about you unless you breach this privacy policy or the terms and conditions. We may also disclose or access your details if required to do so by law or by any Governmental body. We will only pass on information about you as an individual (as opposed to aggregate information) to third parties to enable us to perform services requested by you.

Keeping information about you secure is very important to us and we encrypt data passed through our website using SSL. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure. As a result, whilst we strive to take every possible step to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information which you send to us, and you do so at your own risk.
